OMG’s BPM Consortium Issues Call for
Participation: BPM Information Days
San Antonio, TX, September 15-16, 2009
Needham, MA, USA – April 24, 2009 – Business Process Management
Consortium (BPM-C) today issued a Call for Participation for the BPM
Information Days, to be held in San Antonio, TX, USA on September 15-16,
2009. BPM-C is an OMG™ managed group. Submissions are due by June 1,

The BPM Information Day is one in a series of on-going events looking
at ways that management of business processes can yield great benefits
for enterprises. This session is a forum for BPM-C members and
non-members to present and discuss experiences, recommendations and
visions on the ways a business can most effectively plan and deliver on
the benefits of BPM.
Submissions are limited to this focused topic and may include:
- Real-life experience in successful (or unsuccessful) BPM
undertakings
- Strategies and tools for managing business processes
- Innovative use of tools, models or management approaches for
same
- Governance experience / approaches for business process
management
- Implementations of tools or services that may improve process
management
- Innovative approaches to business and IT working together to
improve and deliver on the promise of BPM
Submissions
The submission deadline is Monday, June 1, 2009. The program
committee will consider all submissions. BPM-C holds many events per
year; if your submission is not selected for this event we may still
contact you for another future opportunity. If you would only like your
submission to be considered for the San Antonio, TX event please
indicate this on your paper.
All papers should be prepared in English. Submissions should be
limited to a maximum of four pages in length and must include the title
of the proposed session, a one-paragraph summary at the top of the paper
and summary professional bio information. Submit papers to Program
